Success Story: Dip Molding Handle Grips

Handle grips. It’s something most people don’t think about, but if they were missing from a piece of equipment you were using, you’d notice. They are small parts that make a big difference. For 70 years, Midwest Rubber has been proud to collaborate with companies that are developing products that make people’s lives easier, safer, and more efficient. Many times, we are producing a part that is a piece of something bigger, and makes that thing work better. One example of this is the durable rubber handle grips we developed for Magliner.
Handle grips serve a number of purposes. In addition to improving comfort for the user, they can help support weight, and offer traction, which increases ease of use and well as safety. They often provide anti-vibration properties for equipment, as well. We create many of our handle grips using our dip molding process, in which a metal form or tool is dipped into a coating material to create a rubber part. Our proprietary process allows us to create handle grips that are comfortable and highly durable. Their hermetically sealed surfaces can stand up to harsh detergents, making them a great choice for equipment that must be regularly cleaned, such as exercise and medical equipment.
Are you looking for a way to improve the comfort, ease of use, and safety of one of your products? Midwest Rubber may have the answer. Please get in touch; we’d love to discuss your project with you.
